This is Where it Starts

‘This is Where it Starts’ was commissioned by Lausanne 2020 for their bid to host the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The film concluded the final presentation in Kuala Lumpur to the IOC membership before they cast their deciding vote.

Shot on location in Lausanne, the film uses the aesthetic of the graphic novel to express how only Lausanne can offer real learning opportunities to YOG participants.

Lausanne was appointed to host the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games by 71 to 10 votes.
